Principal's Message

Greetings, Ritchen Families!

Welcome to the 2025–26 school year at Emilie Ritchen Elementary! Our first day is Tuesday, August 19th, and we are excited to begin another incredible year together.
This year begins with wonderful news — Phase 1 construction is complete! We now have brand-new classrooms for most of our second- and third-grade students, along with a new piano lab and STEAM lab. Phase 2 construction is already underway as we continue to grow and enhance our campus for the future.
 

Along with these exciting facility improvements, we have also seen tremendous academic growth. Over the past five years, our school has achieved a 14% increase in the number of students meeting or exceeding standards in both English Language Arts and Math. This success reflects our data-driven approach, dedicated staff, and strong partnership with families. We are proud of our vibrant community and look forward to another year of growth, learning, and success.
